Hey, I'm Raghav

I teach, tinker around and strive to keep learning.
Welcome to my personal site! 🚧 Still under construction!
I like to take a look at the bigger picture and try to approach things from a rounded perspective. I throw ideas out and if something sticks, I try to build it. Continously learning about new ideas and technologies is what keeps me interested and I believe in passing on knowledge as much as acquiring it.

Teaching at Plaksha University

  • Teaching courses on computational thinking, C programming, and mentoring student projects in the AI-driven innovation space.

  • Delivered foundational courses in programming and data science for postgraduate students.

  • Supported instruction in multiple undergraduate and postgraduate courses; organized and led two programming workshops.
  • Knowledge Map (WIP)
Designed a system to visualize curriculum, learning outcomes, and prerequisites for an AI-driven course mapping/planning tool.
    Capstone Project (Mentorship)
Mentored two student groups working on identifying crop disease and modelling crop yield using satellite image data, providing technical and research guidance.
    AI Bootcamp
Designed modules for executive courses on generative AI and traditional ML.
    Research
Contributed to two research projects in computer vision and deep learning.
Stanford Code in Place Section Leader
Taught in the voluntary Code in Place program by Stanford.
    River Cleanup Robot (Mentorship)
Coached high school student on designing a sustainable robot for cleaning polluted rivers in Nepal.
    SciComm
Led content development for STEM subjects (1000+ resources), restructured SME workflows, and trained 30 new team members at an early stage startup.
    Masters at Aix-Marseille Université
Completed a master's program in Astrophysics at Université Paris-Saclay (M1 General Physics) and Aix-Marseille Université (M2 Astrophysics).

  • Thesis: Reconstructed and simulated surface dynamics on comet 67P using mesh optimization, multiresolution photometric modeling, and 3D image analysis.

  • Internship: Developed data pipelines to analyze Fermi LAT Gamma Ray Burst data, simulate CTA detections, and quantify detection thresholds and optimal observation strategies for transient high-energy events.
  • Bachelors at Amity University
Completed a bachelor's program in Physics at Amity University.

  • Internship: Analyzed NASA HEASARC data on Gamma Ray Bursts and X-Ray Binaries using power and spectral analysis to develop light-curve timing algorithms and quantify photon energetics, contributing to two co-authored term papers.

  • Open projects / ideas

Knowledge Map - Mapping out the courses in a curriculum to assess cohesivenss between courses, identify gaps, enable collaboration, gauge course effectiveness and visualise learning pathways for students.

Road Sense - An app to use the inbuilt sensors in mobile phones to measure road smoothness and create a 3D map.

Bluetooth Attendance - A method to take attendance by capturing the bluetooth signals from mobile phones and reduce reliance on manual methods.

Sign Language for AR Glasses - Inspired by the Marvel show Echo.

Excercise Tracker and Visualiser - An app to track and visualise your workouts and the muscle groups you have been working on as a way to see your journey.

Key Strokes in a Day - An app to track the patterns of keystrokes you do in a day and visualise it as a way to see how much and how you type. Inspired by IOGraphica

Menu Stealer - An app to automatically capture the menu buttons on websites you visit. Inspired by Buttons Stealer.

WebSnap - An app to capture and annotate interesting web pages, allowing users to save and share snippets of information easily.
